After what seems like forever, our awnings have finally been installed! Thank you to Robin at Fyfe Design for organizing this through Boston Sign. Our shop has always been attractive from the street, but the awnings really cap off our look. The building has been transformed.

The new World of Interiors is filled with gold everything. I love it that they don’t do Christmas in December but they tease out the holiday in o. so subtle a way. Don’t miss the inside of Yves St. Laurent’s Chateau Gabriel. It’s an accessories dream come true.

Copper copper copper. It seems we’ve been through the trend ten years ago, but I guess it’s back or has been back according to a woman buying some wide crimped copper ribbon at the Market that she says was a ‘big hit’ last year. I prefer the softer gold mesh with a copper warp. We’re practically bumping into the Holiday horizon, it’s so close and Thanksgiving feels like it’s already happened. Flower availability is meager, but thankfully some vendors are working it hard to bring in items that freshen up last year’s fare.

Advice to customers: instead of a small bouquet to take to your hostess, spend that 45.00 on a bouquet of three extraordinary peonies (from Chile) or a few amaryllis stems (4 flowers each)!
